Welcome to my site, which in summer 2020 will be helping raise much needed funds for the Oakhaven Hospice. For two years together with my colleagues Janet, James and Christina, we have been holding art workshops at the Coates Centre, the service provided by Oakhaven for the community. We help people whose lives have been impacted by illness. Sadly we have had to stop until the pandemic retreats.

As reported in the Lymington Times on 21st August, Marion, James, Janet and Christina have been fundraising again for Oakhaven Hospice, where in happier times they run art workshops in the Coates Centre. This Centre is part of the Hospice, and provides support for anyone in the community whose life has been affected by illness.

In these difficult times they held an exhibition of their paintings, prints, cards and homemade preserves mostly out of doors, outside Marion’s studio. The weather was largely kind, and a steady stream of local friends, neighbours and local supporters allowed them to raise over £1400 - even exceeding last year’s total!

They would like to thank everyone who came along, and all those who were so generous in their support.

14 paintings found new homes, as well as many cards and pots of jam.

“Artists for Oakhaven”, we are currently donating all our sales revenues to Oakhaven Hospice.
